What Music Means to Me

Music is my healer (apart from nature). It relieves any stress or anxiety. It lets us calm down and find some sort of peace of mind, either the instruments or lyrics. It energizes and motivates me. I cannot go a day without hearing some music. Music is another world, another dimension. I rejoice in the profound impact it has on people. And the beautiful sound instruments can create by being intwined together.
My music taste is quite diverse. My main thang is reggae, jazz, classical, underground hip-hop,   revolutionary hip-hop, folk, rocksteady, and anarcho-punk. I give different types of music a try, one thing I really do not like is today's mainstream music, yet it is very catchy. I hate the lyrics, they are very pointless and disrespectful. I am big on lyrics and the artist intentions with their music. I am very fond of music.

Problems and Struggles

I am ultimately blessed.
The struggles I've seen most people face here at bell involves not having a healthy relationship with the parents or guardian(s). I've come to realize this as I get to know people, I noticed many talk bad about their parents because they lack communication. It's either the parents or the kids fault, or both. Many lack self-confidence. They do not see the potential they could attain. Affording college is another huge struggle. Having a low wage income that is not sufficient for a household, college hangs from the picture. Our community/environment is another perpetual problem. Kids grow up in messed up homes and communities, they grow there and learn from there and the cycle continues.

The most Interesting Person in the World!

Mr. Lansdown.

The most intriguing person I know is named David. The way I met him was quite nice, I was walking down the hall reading a Charles Bukowski poem book, he comes right next to me and walks down with me and then after a while, finally asks what am reading. The fact that he knew who Bukowski was surprised me. Ever since, we got along real well. I remember in the beginning I was fascinated with all the knowledge he knew. I fancied him because of that and the multi-talents he had. Time went by, I got to know him better. We became real close friends, still are. He is the only person I can have 6 hour long conversations. The subjects we touch on are not any ordinary topics. Nonetheless, we can simply stay in silence, no need for words. I really enjoy talking to this guy because I always learn something. I always describe him as a walking encyclopedia. My time spent with him is always a valuable moment. I have learn so much about myself these past years because of him.
